How to Get to Private Playstation Plus Home Bar

Print this articlePlayStation 3 users are divided into two groups: regular PlayStation Network users and PlayStation Plus members. Regular PSN users get access to such features as online play and the PlayStation Store for free. However, PlayStation Plus is a paid membership entitling the user to free games and additional features, such as the PlayStation Home Private Members Club. This club, accessed within PlayStation Home, is open only to PlayStation Plus members. A combination lounge/bar, the club also offers a collectible card game known as Shed. Once you have become a PlayStation Plus member you can access the club at any time.

Launch "PlayStation Home."

Press "Start," on your PlayStation 3 controller, to access the Menu Pad.

Select "Navigator."

Select the "Home Spaces" tab.

Select "PlayStation Plus Private Members Club" from the list of spaces you can visit. Your character is instantly transported to the club. You must have a PlayStation Plus account to be able to select the club from the list of spaces.

Tips & Warnings

After accessing the bar for the first time, you can quickly access it again by selecting it from the "Explore" menu on your Navigator.

The PlayStation Plus lounge can only be accessed by European PlayStation Plus members. At the time of publication, the lounge is not available outside of Europe.
